Who might I be a good fit for?

I work with teens and adults who are looking for a place to better understand themselves and what they’re experiencing. I have a particular interest in women’s mental health, including pregnancy and the perinatal period, infertility, pregnancy or infant loss, birth trauma, and reproductive health. I also enjoy working with people who are navigating change, exploring questions of identity or relationships, or simply wanting to feel more connected to themselves and their lives.

What concerns do people commonly bring?

People often come to me with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, difficult emotions, or changes that have left them feeling overwhelmed or unsure of what comes next. Others are working through reproductive or perinatal concerns, the impact of past experiences, or a sense of feeling disconnected from themselves. Sometimes there is a clear reason for beginning therapy; other times, there is simply a feeling that something needs attention.

How do I tend to support people?

I believe therapy works best when you feel accepted, respected, and part of the process. I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy, while adapting our work to what makes sense for you. Together, we might look at patterns, explore how past experiences are showing up in the present, consider new perspectives, or practice different ways of responding to difficult thoughts and emotions.

What might it feel like to work with me?

I hope our conversations feel welcoming, collaborative, and free from judgment. I’ll bring curiosity and respect to what you share, while giving you room to explore things at a pace that feels right for you. You can expect me to listen closely, ask questions, and help you notice strengths and possibilities that may be harder to see when you’re in the middle of something difficult.
