Medication management
Understand your options. Decide what feels right for you.

A few things worth knowing
Know your options
Medication is personal. Your provider can help you understand your choices and what to expect.
Find what works
Finding the right medication can take time. We pay attention to how you're feeling and adjust when needed.
When it may help
Medication can support mood, anxiety, sleep, focus, and greater steadiness in everyday life.
Different expertise. One team.
Our psychiatric nurse practitioners bring experience from hospitals, emergency care, family medicine, private practice, and integrative settings. They've worked with people at different stages of life and with a wide range of psychiatric and medication needs.
That experience gives us more ways to help you find someone who fits what you're looking for.

More than a prescription
Medication decisions are personal. What works for one person may not be right for another, and what you need can change over time. Your provider takes the time to understand what you're experiencing, your health history, and what matters to you.
Together you can talk through your options, ask questions, and decide what feels right for you.

Medication care that fits
Common questions
Before your appointment, intake paperwork, consent forms, and history information should be completed through the patient portal. This information is important and helps your provider better understand your experiences, concerns, and care needs before your visit.
Your first appointment is a 60-minute evaluation focused on getting to know you more fully — your history, current concerns, symptoms and experiences, strengths, and goals for feeling better.
During the evaluation, your provider will talk with you about your experiences, answer questions, and discuss recommendations that may support your care moving forward. Sometimes this may include medication. Other times, additional or complementary support may also be recommended, such as therapy, psychological testing, wellness support, lifestyle changes, or other healthcare services.
If medication is prescribed, follow-up appointments are typically shorter and focus on how things are going over time — including symptom changes, effectiveness, side effects, and overall functioning.
Please contact your pharmacy directly or request a refill through the patient portal. Please allow up to 72 hours for refill requests to be completed.
What if I have questions between appointments?
Questions or updates can be sent to your provider through the patient portal by selecting Medication Management. Messages are typically reviewed and responded to within 24–72 hours.
You may also contact the Psychiatric Coordinator at 763-400-7828, option 2.
Different supports. Connected care.
Medication can be part of what helps. Other kinds of care can support you, too.
