Who might I be a good it for?

Over the years, I've found that I work especially well with adults who are carrying a lot. They work hard, care deeply about others, and are doing many of the things they believe should lead to a fulfilling life. Yet despite their efforts, they may find themselves exhausted, anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the sense of peace, fulfillment, or connection they are seeking. Together, we explore what may be getting in the way and how to move toward a life that feels more aligned with what matters most.

What concerns do people commonly bring?

One thing I've noticed is that people are often quicker to assume something is wrong with them than to recognize how much they have been carrying. Many come to therapy navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, health concerns, or questions about purpose and direction. Rather than focusing on what is "wrong," we work to better understand what is happening and how to respond to it more effectively.

How do I tend to support people?

Years of listening have shown me that when people are struggling, they often become caught in cycles of overthinking, avoidance, or self-criticism. Therapy offers an opportunity to step back and look more closely at what is happening. Together, we explore what can be changed, what cannot, and how to respond with greater awareness, flexibility, and self-trust.

What might it feel like to work with me?

Our conversations often begin with the realities of everyday life, but over time we move beyond discussing problems and begin examining them more closely. As understanding grows, people often find themselves responding differently to challenges, making decisions with greater clarity, and feeling more connected to their values. The goal is not to eliminate life's difficulties, but to navigate them with greater confidence, intention, and resilience.
