Who might I be a good fit for?
I really enjoy working with individuals managing anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. I'm also passionate about working with people who feel there may be a connection between their mental health symptoms and underlying hormonal changes. This includes women navigating perimenopause, menopause, postpartum transitions, PMDD, PCOS, or endometriosis, as well as men who wonder whether low testosterone or other hormonal factors may be contributing to symptoms like anxiety, insomnia, low mood, or lack of motivation. I also really enjoy working with individuals managing anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and bipolar disorder.
What concerns do people commonly bring?
Clients often tell me they appreciate my relaxed, conversational approach. I want appointments to feel like a genuine discussion. I also take time to explain medications, answer questions, and provide honest feedback about what medications can and cannot do. Humor is an important part of how I connect with people, and many clients appreciate having a provider who is both knowledgeable and approachable.
How do I tend to support people?
I enjoy working with people who are curious about understanding the "why" behind what they're experiencing, particularly when mental health symptoms may be influenced by hormonal or biological factors that have gone unrecognized. I also find it rewarding to work with individuals who are motivated to make meaningful changes and view treatment as one part of a larger process of improving their overall well-being.
What might it feel like to work with me?
My goal is for people to feel understood, hopeful, and confident in their treatment plan. I want clients to know that they are being listened to and that their concerns are taken seriously. While medication can be a valuable tool, I generally view it as a way to help people get unstuck and moving in the right direction rather than as the entire solution. I hope each person leaves our appointments with greater clarity, a sense of direction, and confidence in the path forward.
