Who might I be a good fit for?
My practice includes children, adolescents, adults, families, and older adults across many different stages of life. I have a particular passion for working with people who have experienced trauma and want a place to understand what they've been through, reconnect with themselves, and begin moving toward healing and growth.
What concerns do people commonly bring?
The effects of difficult experiences can show up in many ways. You or your family may be navigating trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, attachment concerns, ADHD, substance use, or family difficulties. Sometimes people come in feeling disconnected from themselves or simply recognizing that the life they're living doesn't feel like the life they want.
How do I tend to support people?
I believe we each have a natural capacity for healing when we have the right support, tools, and space to do the work. My approach is holistic and integrative, drawing from psychodynamic and trauma-focused therapies, EMDR, mindfulness, psychoeducation, and parenting support. Depending on your age and needs, our work may also include art, expressive therapies, sand tray, or play. Together, we'll find ways to understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and support changes that can carry into everyday life.
What might it feel like to work with me?
Hope and trust are important parts of the relationship I hope to build with you. There is room here to explore what's been difficult while also recognizing the strengths and possibilities that may be harder to see right now. Healing doesn't have to happen all at once. My role is to support you as you take an active part in that process and find your own way toward a life that feels healthier, more connected, and meaningful.
