Who might I be a good fit for?
When something in your life or relationships isn't working the way you want it to, therapy can be a place to figure out what needs to change and how to begin. I work with adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, eating disorders, grief and loss, or significant life transitions. I especially appreciate working with people who are ready for a practical, straightforward approach to moving forward.
What concerns do people commonly bring?
Feeling stuck or overwhelmed can make it difficult to see your options clearly. You may be trying to manage emotional stress, work through a loss, navigate a difficult relationship, or make an important change in your life. Sometimes the work is about getting through what's happening right now; other times, it's about recognizing what you'd like to be different and finding a way to get there.
How do I tend to support people?
We'll start with the strengths you already have and build from there. My approach is direct, solution-focused, and grounded in strengths-based therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based approaches. Together, we'll identify what's getting in the way, consider what can change, and develop practical steps that move you toward your goals.
What might it feel like to work with me?
Honesty, trust, and compassion are important parts of how I approach therapy. I want you to feel supported enough to be open about what's happening while also knowing I'll challenge you when it can help you move forward. My hope is that our work helps you feel more confident in the changes you're making and more connected to the life and relationships that matter to you.
