Who might I be a good fit for?
When emotions feel difficult to manage or life feels harder to navigate than it used to, having the right support can make a difference. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, emotional ups and downs, or significant life transitions. I especially enjoy helping people understand what they're experiencing while finding practical ways to move forward.
What concerns do people commonly bring?
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to handle what you're experiencing can be a reason to begin therapy. You may be working through the effects of past trauma, struggling in an important relationship, or noticing that the ways you've learned to cope with stress aren't helping as much anymore. Our conversations can be a place to understand those experiences while building greater confidence and self-awareness.
How do I tend to support people?
We'll make room for understanding what's happened in the past while also paying attention to what can help in everyday life right now. My approach is strengths-based and trauma-informed, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, EMDR, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Together, we can build practical skills, recognize your existing strengths, and find approaches that fit you and the changes you want to make.
What might it feel like to work with me?
You can expect a warm, supportive space where you can talk openly without judgment. I want you to feel respected and understood while also gaining tools that help you feel more capable of navigating what's difficult. Over time, my hope is that you feel more confident in yourself and able to make changes that are meaningful, sustainable, and connected to what matters most to you.
