MSW, LICSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Who might I be a good fit for?

My work is primarily with adults who are experiencing the ongoing effects of trauma, particularly medical trauma, physical injury, concussions, or other experiences that have changed how safe or comfortable they feel in their bodies. I may also work with adolescents when trauma involves physical or bodily injury.

What concerns do people commonly bring?

Trauma can continue to show up long after an experience has ended. You may notice it through physical sensations, emotional distress, difficulty feeling settled in your body, or changes in how you connect with others. Our work can also explore earlier experiences and developmental wounds that may be influencing how your body and nervous system respond to what's happening today.

How do I tend to support people?

The connection between the brain and body is central to how I approach trauma. I integrate Somatic Experiencing, co-regulating touch, cognitive support, and emotional processing to help you gradually develop a greater sense of regulation and safety within yourself. Rather than pushing through difficult experiences, we'll pay attention to what your body is communicating and work at a pace that allows new responses to develop over time.

What might it feel like to work with me?

Our time together is meant to feel calm, respectful, and unhurried. You'll have space to notice and explore what's happening without being asked to move faster than feels manageable. My hope is that over time you develop greater trust in yourself and your body, along with more confidence and ease in navigating experiences that once felt overwhelming.
