Who might I be a good fit for?
Sometimes emotional challenges aren't experienced only in our thoughts. They can also show up in our bodies, relationships, and the ways we move through everyday life. My work with adolescents, adults, and couples often centers on understanding those connections while navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief and loss, substance use, chronic pain, or disordered eating. I also enjoy working with neurodivergent individuals and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
What concerns do people commonly bring?
Sometimes what you're feeling emotionally shows up in your body, your relationships, or the ways you respond to everyday stress. People often come to me feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, exhausted, or caught in patterns that aren't working for them anymore. Our conversations can help make sense of the connections between your thoughts, emotions, physical experiences, and behaviors while finding new ways to respond.
How do I tend to support people?
I believe meaningful change can happen when we pay attention to both the mind and the body. My approach brings psychotherapy and yoga therapy together, making room to explore how breath, movement, emotions, and thought patterns influence one another. Along with talking things through, we can develop practical ways to regulate emotions, build resilience, and feel more steady when life becomes difficult.
What might it feel like to work with me?
You can expect warmth, compassion, authenticity, and room for humor along the way. I want our work to feel collaborative and comfortable enough for you to explore what's difficult without judgment. Over time, my hope is that you feel more connected to yourself, more confident in navigating life's challenges, and better able to recognize what helps you feel grounded and well.
