Who might I be a good fit for?

Sometimes you know something in your life needs to change, but knowing that and knowing how to change it are two different things. You may have tried before and found yourself back in familiar patterns, or you may be carrying something you've never really said out loud. I connect especially well with people who are hard on themselves, a little skeptical of therapy, or looking for conversations that go beyond the surface.

What concerns do people commonly bring?

People often come to me with concerns related to mental health, substance use and recovery, relationships, family history, grief, or patterns that have become difficult to change. Sometimes the questions underneath those concerns are bigger: How did I get here? What matters to me now? What do I want my life to look like? We can make room for both the immediate challenges and the deeper questions that come with them.

How do I tend to support people?

I bring honesty, compassion, and genuine curiosity to our work together. I won't sugarcoat things, but I also won't lose sight of the person sitting across from me. I respect your intelligence and your ability to understand your own life, and I see therapy as something we actively do together. Rather than relying on a checklist or assuming I already know the answer, I want to understand your particular story—where you've been, what you've learned along the way, and what might help you move forward.

What might it feel like to work with me?

My hope is that you feel seen as a person rather than evaluated or placed into a category. You can be honest here, including about the things that may have been difficult to say anywhere else. I welcome questions, disagreement, and honest feedback because those conversations can be an important part of the work. You don't need to leave with everything figured out. But I hope you leave feeling a little less alone in what you've been carrying and with a sense that there is a direction forward—and we'll find it together.
