Who might I be a good fit for?

Sometimes what we're experiencing is difficult to understand or even put into words. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem concerns, disordered eating, stressful circumstances, or periods of change. You don't need to know exactly what's wrong or how to explain it before we begin. We can find a way into the conversation together.

What concerns do people commonly bring?

People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons. You may feel overwhelmed by emotions, be working through grief or a change in an important relationship, or notice that anxiety or low mood has begun to affect everyday life. For others, the work involves questions of identity, finding healthier ways to cope, or developing a more compassionate relationship with themselves.

How do I tend to support people?

There isn't one right way to do therapy, and not everything has to be expressed through talking. I take an individualized approach that may include art therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based approaches. Art can offer another way to explore experiences and emotions when words don't quite capture them. Together, we'll find an approach that feels meaningful and fits what you need.

What might it feel like to work with me?

Come as you are. I want our time together to feel welcoming, collaborative, and free from judgment, with room to explore at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My hope is that you feel understood and supported while discovering your strengths, making sense of what's difficult, and building greater confidence in yourself and how you move through life.
