Who might I be a good fit for?

Adolescence and young adulthood can bring a lot of change, and sometimes the experiences we carry into adulthood continue to shape how we feel about ourselves and the world around us. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are navigating emotional challenges, difficult experiences, or transitions and want support finding healthier ways to cope and move forward.

What concerns do people commonly bring?

People come to me with a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem or body image concerns, self-injury, and times of significant emotional distress. Others may be trying to make sense of experiences from their past or feeling unsure of themselves during a period of change. Sometimes our conversations begin simply with wanting to understand your story differently and figure out what you need now.

How do I tend to support people?

Curiosity, empathy, and collaboration guide my approach. We'll pay attention to both the challenges you're facing and the strengths you already bring with you, while finding practical ways to manage difficult emotions and experiences. I draw from positive psychology, narrative therapy, mindfulness, DBT, CBT, and ACT, adapting our work to you. I also bring a multicultural perspective to therapy, recognizing that identity, background, relationships, and lived experiences are meaningful parts of your story.

What might it feel like to work with me?

You can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where your experiences are taken seriously and you don't have to have the right words for everything you're feeling. We'll make room for what's difficult while also noticing your strengths, understanding what matters to you, and exploring the life you want to create. It's a privilege to walk alongside you as you build greater confidence in yourself and find a way forward that feels meaningful to you.
